not that one but i have a schwinn active 20 which is one of their cheap recumbents and i ride it alot and it good enough for burning calories. it had lots of positive reviews from users who purchased it from amazon.
so if the weslo pursuit gets good reviews then it should be fine. recumbent bikes are great. i can ride mine for a hr. without any discomfort in my rear end.

Which exam should I take, ACE or NASM?
Apr 14th
Question by BLAKE C: Which exam should I take, ACE or NASM?
I’m addicted to working out and living the healthy lifestyle. I’m 19, in college and I’m intrested in obtaining my personal training cert. So I could have cool job that I enjoyed, plus I hear they make Okay. Which is good for me as a sophomore in college. Anyways, I was just wondering- what exam should I start studying for? I have pretty decent knowledge of nutrition, workouts, and a little about the muscles in the human body. But I would also like to know the advantages and disadvantages of each cert. Thank you for your Time!
P.S. If location has anything to do with the certs, as far as more recognizable- I live in East Texas.

How long should a good and extremely good workout in the bench press?
Apr 10th
Question by Kronotric50: How long should a good and extremely good workout in the bench press?
I usually do bench presses for about three to five minutes but I don’t think that is really a good bench workout. How long is a good bench workout and how many reps should I do?
Best answer:
Answer by Jessica C.
How you set up your exercise reps and sets will be determined by what your goals are. The most important thing is to fatigue the muscles by the last 2 to 3 reps. To increase strength and endurance you will use less weight with more reps. For pure strengthening to build muscle mass you will use more weight and fewer reps and sets. A good bench press workout really only needs to be three to five minutes. You have to remember it is only one motion and a limited number of muscles. The main reason why it gets drawn out is because of socialization when you spot for others and to allow for muscle recovery before you do your next set. For more information you can go to your local library and check out books with suggestions on rep/set styles. There are plenty out there. Hope that helps!

Should I get rollers or a resistance trainer?
Apr 8th
Question by Dan M: Should I get rollers or a resistance trainer?
I can’t decide which one to get. I like the resistance trainer because I can watch TV while using it, but the rollers look more like actually riding a bike. Is using rollers like riding a real bike balance wise? I get depressed when I don’t exercise and I haven’t been able to get out to ride as the days are getting shorter and I’ve been all busy with school. This seems like the easiest way for me to get aerobic exercise indoors, and I’ve been cycling a lot after this summer. Thanks for any answers!

I would go with a good trainer, the rollers take a lot of concentration. I use a cheap Bell one but it doesn’t have enough resistance anymore. The next one will be a Cyclops fluid trainer.

Should I form an LLC and a Trademark?
Apr 5th
Question by : Should I form an LLC and a Trademark?
I am a personal trainer that is thinking about starting my own mobile personal training business. I would like to know if I should register for an LLC? (I live in Maryland) And I have a motto that I would like to trademark. What is the benefit of forming an LLC? And should I trademark my motto? Because it’s something unique and haven’t been used before. I am new to doing business by myself. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Answer by Hello Bye
I would suggest forming a sole proprietor instead, but it’s been a while since I researched different business structures, so do some research, the people on YA aren’t terrible smart (Except me). The benefit of a LLC is that it limits liability to the company, so if the company went into debt or got sued, who ever the company owes money to can’t come after your personal possessions, only company property(except in special circumstances). Also, if you’r mobile fitness company is just you, and no employees, it wouldn’t really be big enough to warrant registering a trademark, you could still do it, but unless you have a good reputation, or the motto is very good (good enough that other companies would want to steal it), it won’t be worth the effort to trademark it.

What gym should a personal trainer work for?
Apr 1st
Question by : What gym should a personal trainer work for?
This is a question for experienced personal trainers. After researching LA Fitness, Gold’s Gym, 24 Hour Fitness and such, it seems that 70% of the job is sales. Also the pay looks to be borderline minimum wage. Is this true? Not going to get a PT Cert to be a miserably paid salesman, so do you work for a gym that is purely based on personal training? Or is being an independent trainer the real way to go?
Best answer:
Answer by dsjdsj Jsdjsdjdsj
Up to you, i work out at a smallish gym near my home, and i know the personal trainers are sometimes the only people there running it are the personal trainers although they usually have a client and just leave up a sign saying go to back office if you need assistance and they just keep an eye on it. Again not a personal trainer myself, but i’d say best bet is to try being an independent trainer however if you struggle for business etc then move on to work for a gym. However you could do the reverse which would help build up a client base, as if long as your charming and people find your really helping them then they will be reluctant to change trainer
What do you think? Answer below!
