Question by hj: What is the perfect midway point between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Airport?
I currently live in south beach, but will be travelling quite a bit out of both airports.. Its not so bad to Mia, but almost 25 miles to Fll airport.. i did a search and its 26 miles from FLL to Mia airport.. Im not really familiar with North Miami Beach or Aventura.. I would prefer to stay in Dade county, as opposed to Broward.. What is the
1)most central location to shopping, exact median between both airports,
2) close to the beach, would even consider beach front as long as its
3)not too far away from 95 and
4)not too far from any nightlife..
5) good shopping
6) good gyms- I belong to golds and ballys and even la fitness
Im 30 years old and starting to travel quite a bit and need the happy median right between miami and ft. lauderdale airports.. Based on the math.. I need 2 be about 12-13miles from each airport

Exact distance is less important than a livable neighborhood and easy access to transportation. The exact mid-point would be North Miami just off of I-95, an area that is divided between medium industrial & residential urban ghetto. Aventura may be the best option — it has everything you describe & you can practically bicycle to FLL & easy access via Miami Gardens Drive or Ives dairy Rd. to I-95 for the trip to MIA. If you want to be right on the Beach, just 5 min. over the causeway is Sunny Isles Beach.

If you don’t eat the right equation of carbohydrates and proteins, you’ll have a lousy workout because you’ll run out of energy. Don’t Eat Right Before Class: A stomach full of food tells your body to store that energy, not release it. Exercising on a full tummy sends your muscles conflicting messages. Avoid eating for at least an hour – ideally two hours – prior to the start of your boot camp class. Can’t find the time to eat? Put some juice or energy drink in your water. The small amount of sugar and electrolyte will keep you going during all the training.
Eat a Balanced Meal: If you eat too many carbohydrates, your body will get flooded with insulin and will have a hard time releasing that energy for the bootcamp workout. If you consume too much protein you’ll get tired and lazy. Your last meal before your workout should be a colorful mix of proteins and carbs. For example, a piece of whole grain bread with peanut butter, or an egg and some veggies, or a bean burrito.
Refuel After Class: It’s imperative that you eat after your workouts. even when you finish your bootcamp session you are still burning calories.
